August 7, 2013 - nice fruit and balance. Drinking very well right now with signs that it's fully matured. Color shows bricking. Very feminine wine with very light body and soft tannins.

April 16, 2012 - I had this with seared quail and salmon cakes and alongside DeLoach Green valley 2007 (same winemaker and year, but different terroir). This wine was clearly superior to the DeLoach. Needed only a short 15-30 minute decant. Ripe Strawberry (reminded me of a ripe Navarra or Chateauneuf). Candy sugars on the mid-palate. A hint of baking spices and rose petal on the finish. Lovely. Drank best in Riedel Sommelier Burgundy glass.
