March 20, 2022 - A private dinner (Restaurant Bar du Champagne, Amsterdam, NL): An older but undisclosed dégorgement. Reductive nose opens up with some oxygen. Rich and vinous palate, spicy and honeyed, complex ripe fruit (peach, melon, strawberry), gentle mousse, rounded and fresh, flowing, intense yet elegant, silky and seamless, plush but with lots of minerally energy, lovely length. Effortless.
