April 12, 2013 - This was a strange wine. I remember having it at a tasting a few years ago and enjoying it. I suspect this was not well balanced from the start and past its prime. Very gold with a promising nose of rich tropical fruit, but an awkward palate of quince, butyric acid and a very strange grape candy finish. Food didn't really help improve the wine unfortunately. A big disappointment.
