Community Tasting Notes 5

October 26, 2013 - This one was clearly over the top, probably due to too warm cellaring. Loads of apples and quince marmelade but also some refreshing hints of minerals/soda water. The finish has some sweetness but the acidity and bubbles makes the wine balanced and fresh.

December 22, 2009 - Fresh nose with mineral, citrus, breadcrumbs and some hazelnuts. Still young. On the palate dry and fresh with good acidity. Finishes a bit short perhaps. Perfect with oysters!

November 7, 2009 - Obvious aromas of apples and a hint of bread. Tastes as it smells, acid is quite long and balanced. A fairly good Champagne, although nothing exceptional.

September 21, 2009 - A good but not great Champagne. Not very complex but offers up flavors and aromas of citrus, apple or pear, and just a little bit of toastyness.
