April 27, 2024 - An Iron Fist. Massive. Impenetrable. With a nose full of granite dust... offering the barest nuances of blackberry, Provencal herbs, subtlest earth, Southern Rhone warmth... but far from too much. Recommend 2 hour decant. But likely better after 2032.

March 3, 2024 - I forget about Gigondas! And it's such a fun word to say. And this is fun to drink. Big flavors, lots of earth, and at this age really a pleasure to drink. Yummy.

December 26, 2021 - Deep, dense, smooth and integrated. Medium-plus to full bodied. A background of dried, dark fruit, dried black cherries, fig paste and prunes, with savory overtones of dried brush, damp earth, iodine, dried beef and dried mushroom. Lingering finish of dark, jammy fruit and savory sous bois. No need to wait.. drinkin’ great now.

    December 12, 2021 - In a good place

May 17, 2021 - Sweet fruit with cohesive structure. Delicious and crowd pleasing.
