August 30, 2020 - This was pretty tired and past prime. I've had great luck with older Cristom, but this bottle was just okay as the sweetness and spice lacked a structural frame to give the wine life.

August 30, 2020 - Sunday hangout (socially distanced) (Chicago, IL): Can't say I liked this; it seemed a little advanced and felt a little hot to me. For a second, I thought that there were some syrah spice flavours here too, oddly enough. A little older than I care for, with a slight bitterness on the finish.

  • SeaSea Likes this wine:

March 17, 2020 - Lovely bottle. Oregon red fruit. Still fresh at 20. No browning. Perfect cork. Bought at auction. Bit of sediment in the last bit.

  • SeaSea Likes this wine:

January 24, 2020 - Fruit fading, acid. Nice.

  • chcook Likes this wine:

January 23, 2016 - PNP. Cork perfect. Color brick. Nose strawberry rhubarb cola with spice and damp earth. Swishing shows good supporting acidity and great body. Sipping reveals full on mature Oregon Pinot. Super smooth cherry with glycerin laden palate and balanced med length finish. Just superb...doubt that there is upside to holding but I think will hold here for a bit.

After some air this showed more structure than fruit....maye not as much life in it as I was thinking earlier
