  January 2, 2013 - At 6+ years old, this wine is past it's prime. Even so, it has a decent tannin structure and acidic body. Slightly floral in the nose with mineral flavors on the palate. May well have been better younger. Did not improve with air.

  February 16, 2009 - Pizza nuts rejoice, this is a wine made just for you! I don't think I have had a wine that was better for pizza then this little $15 gem. The nose shows a nice strawberry and white pepper element mixed with a touch of a floral note. Fairly fruit forward with an excellent balance of acidity and weight. There's not much of a finish and if you have some left over after the pizza, it just doesn't seem to be nearly as good but hopefully you will pop it at your next pizza party and it won't get that far.

  December 19, 2008 - not a bad unoaked with a decent amount of cherry on the nose. drank well right out of the bottle and matched well with the pizza we ate.
