July 22, 2017 - A: Deep ruby red in colour
S: Strong amazing bouquet of red fruits & spice
T: Smell follows through to the palate, minor lingering bitterness, low acidity
Overall: This has become a fabulous wine. All the initial bitterness has been turned into the wonderful aged characteristics you'd expect. This bottle was well stored so YMMV.

September 26, 2014 - Clear and still a nice dark purple. Clean nose of black currant and spice. Dry, med acidity, med body, smooth tannins, black currant, chocolate, and spice on palate. Nice finish. This wine is still great. Not sure it will get better with age, but it still has a number of years left. The more older BC wines I have the more I think they have great cellar potential. I am not going to rush drinking these wines.

June 21, 2013 - even better than than the last bottle. I wish I had more. most B.C. reds dont make it this long but this is still slightly youthfull with lots of big fruit and soft tannins.

February 24, 2012 - drank 2006 could use another year... great development so far! typical cedar creek meritage. acid is starting to round out, tannins have def settled down. oak is coming forward but still fruit dominant. dark purple, hints of cherry and toffee on the nose.

August 15, 2010 - Tasted at the winery – nice nose with notes of coffee beans black fruits and some pleasant greenness. A lot of cab franc coming through. The palate is deep and concentrated and not overdone giving more dark fruits with chocolate and tobacco notes. Medium bodied with soft yet drying tannins with balanced acid and a medium length finish. Drink or hold. Very good.
