May 2, 2021 - This bottle was in pristine shape and neck level. Deep gold. Smell like Botrytised sweet wine! Caramel, honey, marmalade, apricot, wet stone, sweet spices and tropical fruits! Heavenly nose!⁣
Dry with hint of residual sugar, the sharp acidity keeps it alive. Dusty, mushroom, botrytised notes with caramel popcorn and buttery flavours. ⁣

Amazing and rare classic! Ygrec at its best at 44 years old!⁣

July 29, 2017 - Truffles with the SLDS (CFs): Buter menthol, lemon, apricot, quince, nutty and spicy with a touch of caramel - still has fresh elements but really nice aged complexity here. Fruit sweetness still there on the palate, finishes dry and with good acidity present. Great length. Superb! A long way ahead of a bottle tried 7 years ago.

October 5, 2016 - Totoraku Night (Totoraku): My first time trying this wine. You can clearly taste its roots. It's like a friendly cousin to the sweet dessert Sauternes d'Yquem, but in a dryer form. Still a bit sweet for my liking as a white bordeaux to accompany the first courses of a meal. But a very impressive wine in its own right.

May 8, 2013 - Golden in color, nose full of honey and slight caramel. Lush and full palate, feels slightly off dry with slight botrytis note. A very appealing wine like drinking an off dry Dy'quem, lovely.
