February 1, 2009 - Very dark red, mostly clear, big body. Not much on the nose but light fruit (cherry/ctrawberry). Not as fruity on the palate, more acidic, spicy, but the meatiness that was the real allure of this wine four years ago has left it. Somewhat bitter finish. Drink them up. It makes a good reduction when mixed with some balsamic, though.

April 10, 2008 - Nose of dark berry, meat, and yes a hint of eucalyptus... The color is medium dark red, not what you usually get with great Rosenblum wines. The fruit was muted, and there were no tannins noticeable. There was a definite vanilla component that clashed with everything in the wine. This wine is on its way out, and I recommend drinking whatever you have left now.

August 26, 2007 - Dark pitted fruit, plenty of eucalyptus on the nose. A biut hot but overall a good wine with a rich finish.

May 12, 2007 - I purchased this from the winery three years ago and forgot I had it until about two weeks ago. What a nice find. Some dark berry and black olive-like aromas on the nose with sublte smokey notes from the oak. Invites a sip and the palate delivers with dark cherry and blackberry along with grilled meat, spice and smoke. I very nice syrah - wish I had purchased more than one bottle.

November 19, 2006 - A very pleasant surprise. Medium bodied, with great cool climate syrah notes of flowers, grilled meat, and dark berries. Drinking well now, but will hold for several years.
