May 25, 2013 - Decanted for an hour. Nice subtle nose of red/dark fruits, roses and prunes. Not as flavourful or robust as the 09 reviewers noted. Still a bit of a bite to it. Not sure if it can age much longer.

June 22, 2009 - Intensive Frucht, Kirschen und Himbeeren, am Gaumen dicht mit etwas Holz, schöne Säure und ordentlich Tannin. Aber sehr süffig. Wirklich erfreulich.

May 8, 2009 - Dark burgundy colour. Aromas of kirsch, crushed currants, red plums, alcohol. Medium bodied, with replays from nose and some raspberry coulis. Good acidity and texture. With air, expands on the palate becoming more full bodied and velvety in texture. Great length and complexity. A nice baking spice finish after about an hour in a decanter. This is a really enjoyable wine. A notch below the 2005 edition, but something that will drink well for the next few years at a minimum. Drink 2009-2012+.
