February 27, 2011 - My worst (and thankfully last) bottle of this wine. It was marred on the nose and palate by a dirty, moldy note that just wouldn't go away. This obscured the dark fruit profile lurking underneath and made the wine unenjoyable. This a wine that declined across all five bottles consumed over the last four years. Too bad.

July 17, 2010 - Pleasant aromas of rhubarb--which I like very much--and a touch of petrol--which a friend found off-putting but I enjoyed. Well-integrated flavors of tart red fruits. This wine is as good as it is going to get, in my opinion.
