Community Tasting Notes 3

May 12, 2009 - Very light straw color. Modest nose, a bit of citrus but not much. On the palate, nice acidity, maybe a little coconut, also grapefruit. A touch spicy on the finish. Very pleasant for a very modest price. I think this would make a spectacular match for a summertime BBQ with lots of grilled shrimp. Also second the recommendation re spicy Thai - that would work very well.

February 17, 2009 - Was looking for something to pair with spicy thai food which can be difficult. Was a little scared at first since this comes with a beer bottle type top (no cork). Lots of citrus fruit and acidity. Cut perfectly through the spiciness of the food. Bought a couple more bottles for a similar situation and a great value on a 1 liter bottle.

January 9, 2009 - Spice, white pepper and grapefuit. Lots of clean acidity. Great deal on wine.
