  February 15, 2021 - Really surprised at how wonderful this wine was to drink. First taste was earthy, leather, red/black fruit that was nicely balanced. Allowing to breathe for 30 minutes, it became even more smooth and balanced with sweet fruit coming forward. The expansion of this sweet fruit flavor slowly expanded in ones mouth and became predominant after 1-2 minutes. Medium-long finish, very well balanced, fully mature. I felt that this was in between a California Cab and an Australian Shiraz. Really enjoyable and made me wish for more of this kind of balanced wine.

  July 10, 2016 - Deep garnet color with long legs. Earth, leather and red/black fruit on nose and palate. Smooth and balanced but at it peak.

  August 15, 2009 - Beautifully developed, fully mature and firing on all cylinders. berries and a dash of vanilla with a slight hint of pepper on the finish. will give the collector another 6-9 years of pleasure. This was my last of the case.
