April 22, 2021 - Fabulous, firing on all cylinders. Agree this has years to go. Silky smooth and even yummier on the second night, 24 hours after opening.

March 6, 2020 - Leather and boysenberry on the nose. Dark fruit and earth on the tongue. This wine was an incredible match with dark chocolate! Still good for several years.

April 2, 2018 - Solid effort. Tasted from magnum. The wine has a little too much heat on the end which distracts from an otherwise nice finish. I do not think this wine will get any better but should hold nicely for around 3-5 years. The blend is 61% Cab with the balance Merlot, Cab. Franc, and Petit Verdot (all of which are noticeable). There is a lot going on here with the interplay of flavors and grapes.

May 6, 2017 - Full body. Bricking. Cinnamon, violets, and cassis on the nose. Dark fruit flavors predominate with a nice undercurrent of xmas spice, cedar and tobacco. Mid-level tannins, yet still a pronounced acidity. Definitely in its drinking window now, but has another 2-3 years at this plateau. Just a touch of alcohol heat keeps the wire from being rated higher. 14.7% abv.

September 12, 2015 - Decanted 75 minutes. Drinking beautifully now, but should be good for another 5 years. Vanilla, cassis, red fruit, especially raspberry, some dark fruit including plum. Complex wine with medium tannin. Long finish.
