February 8, 2010 - I totally agree with last review...although not picking up as many adjectives! This wine brings the Thunder for the price. Nice dark purple in the glass, light notes of dark fruit...semi seductive. The palate is medium bodied, light on the tannins, soft quality, verging on the velour sweater texture. Touch of sweetness with dark fruit, smooth medium long finish. Again, is really pushing the delious factor that i like. Am trying this solo and pairing it with some pretty tasty Hungarian Goulash i made tonight. Nice just by itself. I will go back and buy more for darn sure. Enough said.

September 14, 2009 - Dark purple, opaque appearance. Floral notes, dark berry and menthol on nose. Velvety tannins, lots of dark fruit, a hint of leather on the palate and herbs on the finish. All this for under $10. More finesse than Alamos.
