November 23, 2006 - Very complex wine, a great example of a CA burgandian Pinot. Aromas of cherry, smoke, earth, raspberry. Wine was intially tight, but opened up after 30 minutes to reveal a well structured and complex wine, with the aromas more easy to identify and the layers of flavors provide a very deep pinot. Nice, long finish.
