June 2, 2010 - Still plenty of structure and a surprising amount of fruit, especially after bottle was open for about an hour. Silky tannins with lead pencil and leather underlying blackberries, currents, cranberries and a hint of pie cherry. Flies in the face of those who claim California red wines can' evolve the way Bordeaux does.
