February 8, 2009 - A rich musky nose, with aspects of Sauvignon typicity - I say cat's pee, you say gooseberry! Thick in the mouth with grapefruit at the front and a good dash of sweetness, there's plenty residual sugar in this one which coats the mouth and balances the sharp dryness and acidity. For a sauvignon this is rich and immensely enjoyable. 87-88pts.
