September 1, 2012 - Suitably refined, with a certain panache & dash. A complete wine with more to give.

August 7, 2011 - Nice balance, smokey cherries. Some secondary flavours. Maybe bacon? Also some raspberry too. Great stuff

December 18, 2010 - Wine-Soaked Saturday, Mostly Burgs (Washington, DC): nose is exotic. lots of cherry blossoms and bacon. smoke. on the palate this has fine tannins, medium acid, and lots of smoky cherries. smooth yet well-structured.

June 8, 2010 - Opened and offered at M's graduation dinner meal at our house: D&J up from Tallahassee, M&D from local. Very nice aroma of fresh flowers, some Brett, and minor leather. Needs 1-2 hours of air to open up. Noticeable tannins, but they softened over the evening. Slow down on this one, its balance of PN fruit flavors and its aroma are waiting for those who are patient.

August 25, 2009 - Campanile: Richer, silky, clean earth; getting good here!
