Community Tasting Notes 7

    September 19, 2020 - Half bottle.
    Cork barely holding up.
At full maturity and seems to have declined a little since last tasting, also in half bottle.
Nice texture and richness, lacking a little in aromatic precision and in acidity to give it a little more life. Honey, candied fruit, decent length from this great Sauternes vintage.

January 14, 2020 - Robe ambrè, nez expressif. En bouche, belle rondeur et longueur

September 2, 2018 - Not much nose - golden color with honey and peach flavors in the mouth. Still good acid fruit balance. short finish. Al in all a nice wine given its age

January 11, 2017 - From a half bottle, base neck fill level.
Fairly deep color, best described as caramel. At this point the aromas seem slightly muted. There is still a decent amount of complexity and the botrytis element is still evident. However, the intensity of this wine is clearly on the decline. The sweetness and the VA over-power the botrytis. The texture of the wine is still nice, but overall this wine should be consumed in the near future.

January 17, 2015 - Much of the nose fruit has gone, modestly sweet, with light tropical hints.
