August 3, 2022 - A 49 year old crianza. Cork came out in two pieces but was not crumbly. The colour is gorgeous and pristine, a bright garnet. The nose is delicate with virtually no retro nasal presence; vaguely bing cherry. In the mouth there is clarity and pretty much you would find in a delicate crianza. A joyful surprise.

December 4, 2020 - Decanted due to some fine sediment in the bottle. Surprisingly, this was still drinking pretty well in a mature style, even though the bottle wasn't in ideal condition. Tertiary flavors reminiscent of an elegant, classic aged Rioja, with some fruit, acidity and (just a little) tannin remaining. Light garnet (almost amber) color in the glass. Cork crumbled on removal, but there doesn't appear to have been any premature oxidization.

De color rubí marronoso de capa media-alta, limpio y oscuro. Reflejos rojizos y ambarinos.
