December 14, 2022 - Jerky dried meat and figs, touch of herbal complexity. Palate of dried red fruit, figs, dried plums, subtle earth, herbaceous and vegetal on the back end (bell pepper). Quite nice, definitely in the peak, drink up. 89-90

December 25, 2016 - I had a bunch in the cellar I served it for x mas dinner. It has aged wonderfully. Enough so will re supply the cellar with a newer vintage to lay down.
Not a a lot of dropped tannins, But bottle shock did seem to change flavor. It opened up ver nice within the hour of opening. Dark in colors and fruit flavors

February 8, 2016 - Dried, dusty but sweet fruit. Pretty good wine. Has hold up to aging, but it is time to be consumed!

January 6, 2013 - I would agree that this wine could use another year or two in the cellar. It was very closed for quite a while, and I thought that I was going to be disappointed. However, after an hour, the cherry and vanilla notes emerged and it became an enjoyable pour. The wine is still tannic, which suggest it should be held for a few years.
