Community Tasting Notes 1

August 23, 2009 - Decanted for about an hour before pouring. Light ruby red, less colour that I remember from the 04 and 05. Beautiful aroma: black cherries, baking spices, licorice. Palatte is silky, with just enough acidity and a little mineral twist. Long finish. Very impressive effort, a bit more subtle and integrated than previous vintages.
