May 6, 2023 - From a recent auction "mystery pack" of well-stored Herb Farm collection wines.
Slightly oxidized, unfortunately. Cork looked pristine, barely stained a quarter inch from the bottom. -

June 25, 2012 - Received as a gift so I can't comment on value. Very nice. Wonderful, expressive nose of black fruits. Tremendous depth of blue and black fruits on the palate.

September 14, 2007 - Very pleasantly surprised with this wine, purchased with dinner with french/spanish dishes from all over the map. We were not sure what to expect from an Oregon Tempranillo, but yes, definitely a good shot in the dark. Quite delicious... rich but not overwhelming, plums, blackberries, and spice... we're planning a trip down to Abacela next week to pick up a few bottles of this gem.
B's notes: To expand on the meal. . . The wine went well with Oysters on the half-shell, onion and anchovie pizzetta, paella, and beef tenderloin! Not only delicious, but versitile!
