  November 27, 2013 - Pretty deep golden color. Nose of tropical fruits, lots of pineapple. Fairly full-bodied wine, viscous with lots of up-front tropical fruit--pineapple, banana, papaya--some spice. Nice length with slight dryness at the back end. A big, not-overly complex, fruit-forward California chard, though not buttery or over the top.

  November 21, 2011 - This wine had a great color- brassy and golden. It wasn't bright, but it wasn't faded either. The nose was red skinned apple. The palate was fun - a huge front end, filled with lemons and oak, continuing through with roasted nuts at the end. It had a slight dryness, and was loose in texture - not buttery. I did not find a buttery taste in this wine, or vanilla for that matter, which was a nice change from most Chardonnays I've had.
