October 13, 2023 - Best bottle (Restaurant Georges, Ludwigsburg): Glass: Zalto Burgundy
Popped and poured, drunk over two days. Clear, medium golden color. Wonderful nose! Deep, smoky, salty, very complex and multil-layered.
On the palate dry with some noticeable sugar tail. Beautiful balance, medium+, ripe acidity, very mineral, some smoky dark notes, lovely stone fruit. Very long and complex. Seems to me at its full peak, but will stay on this level for several years. 95

August 27, 2020 - Lights out, drop the mic fantastic. So youthful despite being thirteen years old. Loaded with pineapple and yellow plum fruit and terrific minerality. Explosive yet precise, lingers ... Not big but full of impact without seeming overdone. Every corner is perfectly aligned. A complete wine that is truly exciting. (97)

February 10, 2020 - The bottle seemed off, no fruit, unbalanced, lacking in freshness, so either it was over the top or it was a bad bottle. So no rating.

October 27, 2019 - Breuer Schlossberg ve Nonnenberg 1996-2008 (Weingut Breuer in Rüdesheim): blind, double decanted for 6 hours
flight with Nonnenberg 07 and Roseneck 07. All wines were very Close in Quality. In this flight I would prefer the Nonnenberg 07.

In the palate a bit fullbodied and ripe yellow plum, herbal and spicy but with time more powerful and more precise. lime notes in the end. 92-93

October 25, 2019 - Georg Breuer - Double vertical Schlossberg / Nonnenberg 1996-2008 (Weingut Georg Breuer, Rüdesheim, Germany): Glass: Stölzle White
All wines (except where noted otherwise) where double decanted about 7-10h before tasting. This flight was served blind, only vintage was known.
Youthful, pale golden color. Wow, this nose! Deeep, dense! Smoke, mineral notes.
Lots of pressure on the palate, dense, deep and intense! Wonderful ripe yellow stone fruit mixed with an beautiful mineral core and a fantastic smokiness! Unbelievably long! This wine seems to have reached its full maximum, it seems to me “on point”, but not hurry to drink. 96-97

May 3, 2018 - A bit too broad in the late palate but still a nice citrus crispiness. Starting to reach his drinking optimum. I expected a hint more concentration and power. 92-93

May 6, 2017 - "10 Years After" Riesling (Private Location): After the G-Max, Theresa Breuers Schlossberg had a hard time to keep up because its a totally different style. Imo some people out of our drinking group depreciate it to quick.
Lots of spices, orange zest, bitter orange jam and tons of stone on the nose. Very elegant and fine. Blind I´ve guessed a wine from the Nahe. On the palate you have a high, but ripe acidity, lots of salt citrus on the mid-palate. A very precise wine which reminds me a bit about the legendary 05 without the depth of fruit and last kick. I would love to see this wine again in 5 years. Imo there a still some batteries left to push this wine to a better stage.

December 17, 2016 - Rubbery beach-ball nose with aromas of lime juice, bruised apples, canned peach and wet slate. Dry and fairly firm taste with high acidity and low-ish alcohol. More than good - just not very intense, lively, long, or engaging (not speaking of weak QPR). Perhaps the '07 Schlossberg is going through an awkward stage, so hands off for now if you still have bottles left.
