  COLOR: Deep, opaque purple
  NOTE: Nose has blackberry reduction sauce with cinnamon and brown sugar. Mouth is thick & rich with creme de cassis, more brown sugar, flambed blueberries and powdered sugar. Finish is a little too sweet, but it's hedonistic. There is a nice lingering note of baking spice and dark berry reduction. The more I thought about this, the more it was like a beautiful thin crepe with the perfect amount of brown sugar and Knott's boysenberry syrup, sprinkled with powdered sugar and hints of cinnamon.

  August 12, 2010 - Very sophisticated for California port-style wine; notes of vanilla and dark fruit; Four Vines is a future star to look for

  March 2, 2010 - Rich dark cherry-purple pour with nose of dark raspberries, currant, sugars and vanilla. Flavors are similar, with some honey sweetness and layered fruits. Very enjoyable.

  January 2, 2010 - VANILLA bean! Lovely nose of vanilla bean, black raspberry and brown sugar. Palatte has fig and black cherries with a honey and maple syrup finish. Lovely with mango, blueberry and chocolate.
