    January 16, 2015 - Bought November 2005.
Full on blackcurrant fruit, hints of chocolate, liquorice and spice. Still got another 3-5 years of good drinking - a very enjoyable wine.

July 27, 2014 - Very odd nose, it smells like christmas, with nutmeg and very concentrated cinnamon, burnt toast, dust and some kind of wood I cannot identify. The wine bursts into simple, ripe, sweet red fruit in the mouth, slightly incoherent with the aromas on the nose. This is interesting and a bit of a surprise.

June 10, 2012 - As with the 97, it has a great nose of cassis and eucalyptus. Super sexy. Again though it's not so great to drink and even in magnum format I think it has passed it's peak. Stared of mildly spicy, with reasonable fruit, but there were drying tannins on the finish and these became more pronounced as the bottle breathed. Everyone else enjoyed the wine though, so maybe I'm being a bit harsh. Try if you have one.

September 18, 2007 - Blackcurrant pastilles, spearmint and rosemary on the nose. Medium to full-bodied with a ripe, fine tannin structure, balanced acidity, good fruit concentration and length. Danish liquorice and eucalyptus notes emerge. This wine always seems to express these particular notes - A terroir wine from Chile? Drink now.
