August 15, 2015 - Good pop lots of vigorous mousse left. Deep gold bordering on light amber in colour. Sweet sherried and nutty nose. Quite sweet sherried and oxidized taste with perhaps a touch of vinegar on the moderate long finish. Drinkable but not really that pleasant. Seems a fair ways over the hill.

March 8, 2014 - Servi en toute fin de soirée. Magnifique Champagne évolué, sur le pain grillé, les champignons et le sucre d’orge. Robe évidemment bien foncée. Impression de sucre résiduel en bouche. Belle fraîcheur et bulles encore bien présentes. Plus fin que large. Longue finale. Une très belle bouteille.

January 20, 2009 - G6 (Jock): Dark golden color showing its age. Nutty aromatics. Apples and pears on the palate. Nice acidity and freshness. Good minerality. Crisp and clean with an elegant finish.
