Tannic and not showing the fruit very well on the palate. Even after decanting for several hours, the wine still did not open up. Let's hope it improves with age.

October 4, 2005 - Aromatic, marmalade, caramel, cedar and dried berry nose. Med-full bodied, gripping and spiced palate; long finish.

October 22, 2004 - Heritage: Darker scarlet, a bit fruitier, more robust than Farina; Dark berries, more fruit forward. Everybody’s favorite.
