  March 21, 2019 - This was very nice with oxtail course at Cliff on the Cap in St. Lucia. Really enjoyed by all. I would say that it is likely at peak with the fruit just starting to dry a little. Overall tastes like a mature Left bank Bordeaux

  August 23, 2018 - good wine. there's a new world feel to the voluptuous red fruit and soft texture. developed in the glass over an hour. not sure if i would pay this price point again for this wine

  November 18, 2017 - Brilliant as usual. Fully mature yet with another 10+ years of terrific drinking ahead.
  Exhilarating deep nose of cherry, plum and Asian spice. The entire table commented all evening how wonderful their fist Barca Velha experience was.
  If a date, this was a 25 year old Homecoming Queen who decides to spice up her life by posing for Playboy and Sports Illustrated's iconic calendar issue.

  June 11, 2016 - Based on reviews, I was expecting a much more powerful wine, especifically ordering a Lamb tô pair with. It ended up being much more balanced and easy tô drink than anticipated. But no less wonderful and delicious.

  February 14, 2015 - Phenomenal wine. Well balanced, strong yet smooth with such an interesting nose... We had it with lamb and it was perfect. Ready to drink now.
