May 19, 2013 - Even almost 18 years after the vintage, this claret still had remarkable freshness and velvety fruit to accompany its earthy aromas.

November 2, 2006 - Wineflock - Henschke 'Master Class' tasting (Home): Group #8, My #5 - Ruby garnet color. Big black fruit aroma with slight olive hint. Nice bold black fruit with spicy tannic finish. I was surprised to see that this is one of the few (only?) Abbott's where Merlot was not the dominant grape...
