  July 21, 2021 - Maintained dark color. Nice nose. Still had black fruit. Slightly on the downside of the curve but still enjoyable.

  July 28, 2019 - Very nice! Rich, but well balanced and still going strong. Complex dark fruits with a hint of raspberry, and fig. Nice secondary notes on long layered finish. I was impressed with how well this held up.

  April 13, 2019 - Popped 'n poured and served with New Orleans Gumbo. I was stunned at how well this was still drinking! It went really well with the smokey flavors of the Gumbo. Not quite as fruit driven as it was in its youth, but still plenty of life left! I think the alcohol was 16.5%, but it carried it well, never appearing too hot. Medium plus finish.

  April 21, 2018 - Seymour Wine Club Meeting 4/21/18 (Home of the Alapatt's): Tasted blind. Aromas of dried raspberry, dried cherry, spice and pepper. Flavors of boysenberry, raspberry, blueberry and tomato. Ends with a boysenberry and blueberry infused finish of 25-30 seconds. I guessed a Turley Zin and got it. Still had some nice fruit although not as vibrant as these can be in their youth. Kind of surprised this was holding of so well. I gave this 92 points and it finished 3rd on the night.
