April 6, 2024 - So alluring and accessible in red fruit spectrum. The immediate pleasure upon pop and pour offset the slightly lighter palate of the 07. 93-94

December 8, 2023 - Birthday Celebration (State Street Manor & Racquet Club - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting, brief note from memory. Very Vosne-charactered with red fruit and Asian five spice. Good weight and depth, just not at the same level of this wine in its best vintages.

February 15, 2023 - Meo makes lovely Brulees and this 07 pnp had cherry jumping out of the glass and then there was a lovely firm backbone to it holding it all in frame. We decanted it and it opened up somewhat but it felt around 5 years away from peak and will be a long lived wine as Meo tends to age really well in my experience. If you own them no rush wait a bit more and you have a beauty on your hands.

December 22, 2022 - 2007 so light almost slightly dilute, really have to search for the flavors with a scarce cherry and pomegranate flavor.

April 24, 2022 - The weightlessness and touch of sexiness with toasty and roasted aromas to complement the fruit and minerality are the highlights. Overall quite great and easily 94 pts with also a touch of depth missing for the 95+ pts category.

TN: Toasty, sexy nose, slightly reductive, dark pure berries. Fun, if you like reductive notes. On the palate this is just wonderful with so much weigthlessness, really no shread of weight, full of roasty and toasty notes, ripe but not too ripe darker and dark red berries, minerality, harbs and earthy notes in the backgroung. The structure is impeccable with probably a 97% but 100% perfectly integrated acidity and a medium+ but not very long.

Decanting: Not decanted, needed a bit of swirling to get out of its shell but no extensive decanting necessary.

(Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées) High-toned, complex and focused aromas - this is very good. Executive texture of crushed velvet. Largely background acidity. Very long finishing, and it's on a pure fruit note. This is super.
