July 6, 2012 - Never intended on having this sit in the cellar as long as it had, and this is definitely past its prime. The aromas are that of soft, rotting apples, and this carries pretty heavily onto the palate, which is flat and flabby. No acidity and kind of funky.

January 31, 2009 - Columbia Gorge Tasting & 30 year old wines on my 30th birthday (Columbia Gorge and My House): Hey, cool! We finish off the tour with the only 90 point scoring wine of the day. This is pretty interesting stuff. Nose shows lobster shell and rocks. Palate is tangerine. This is very creamy in the mouth and yeah it shows a lot of sugar, but it is so smooth and integrated. Tons of sugar on the finish, but this is very delicious. Picked a bottle up.
