March 20, 2012 - A nice medium-weight Pinot. Drinking nicely, so I'd recommend to drink up. Black cherry with a blackberry undercurrent, a touch of cola and a subtle smokiness. Very good.

June 9, 2011 - Popped and poured. Paired better than expected with tortilla-encrusted tilapia and collard greens. Flavors of cherry, a bit of cocoa and sweet oak plus a bit of spice. Flavors are somewhat simplistic but that's not really a surprise in this price segment. Not a lot of acidity but works well with food nonetheless and is quite enjoyable on its own.

April 17, 2011 - Decanted this bottle for an hour. Very pleasant bottle for average wine consumer. More sophisticated drinkers might find this too mild. We enjoyed

January 22, 2011 - Medium burgundy color, with a clear ruby hue. Upon opening, this wine shows Huge, spicy "funk" on the nose, which then blows off somewhat with air. Decidedly New World on the palate, but not what I'd call over the top. Simple black cherry up front, thins out through the mipalate, then finishes strong with some really pretty spice & tannins. Low acidity keeps this one from being a 90+ effort. Still, a wonderful QPR. Would buy again. [14.0% abv.; $14.00].

January 6, 2011 - A very good budget drinker. Still showing well, with nice cherry flavors and just enough complexity to keep it interesting. Great QPR.
