  October 30, 2010 - The 2006 Chemin de Moscou a blend of 72 % Syrah, 21 % Grenache and 7 % Cinsault exhibits a perfumed palate of rich Grenache kirsch, but also the structured temper of Syrah; raw meat and wet steel. Long finish lasting for some 40 seconds. Tannins are young and edgy. This is a delicious wine, perfect with a Boeuf Bourgignon in front of the fireplace with a blizzard roaring outside. It is simply put the type of wine we appreciate up in the north. I guess it will age nicely for a couple of years or (many?) more. Highly recommended.

  November 26, 2009 - Dark fruited and polished but shows depth, a silky texture, a bit of black pepper on the considerable finish, and excellent balance. Despite its low apparent acidity it worked well with the Thanksgiving food and my fruit-loving friends drank this right down! 55% syrah (aged in new oak barrels), 40% grenache, 5% cinsault (latter two aged in used barrels) from the inlands of the western Languedoc.
