    April 14, 2024 - Full straw/yellow with vigorous fine beading; clean style with white orchard fruit with a nice lemon creme overlay; very complex and well-integrated; excellent vinosity and length. Super showing! Disgorged 5/14

I thought I had grabbed a 2020 disgorgement, and got a little shock when I saw the back label. Laura and I like our NVs to get time time in the cellar, and this was a very happy result.

    April 13, 2024 - Paired with Halibut and sous vide potatoes
    - disgorged Feb. 2023
    - underripe strawberry, apple nose
    - zinging acidity, feels a bit unbalanced at 45min open. However this definitely improves after capping and sticking overnight in the fridge.
    - love this and knew it was still finding its stride with such recent disgorgement.

    February 25, 2024 - Monthly Tasting Group: All the Rhones (A - Side Public House, St. Paul, MN): Light gold color. Small glass over 20 minutes. Crisp green apples, toasted, burnt sugar, florals, pear, cherry, tart. Very good 92+ to 93pts.

    (NV Vilmart & Cie "Cuvée Grand Cellier" Brut) ($79.00) 50% ’08, and 25% each ’07-’06. 70%PN/30%CH. Disgorged 4/10. The wine has always been excellent, but it used to be more starched and not entirely knit, and now it’s silkier. This is certainly among the very best of the last fifteen years, with the clinging flower of ’08 and the warm, honeyed ’06 dancing in graceful counterpoint. Mirabelles and apple sauce against lavender and wisteria, a little more springy than usual, with a refined, incense-y finish.
