  November 17, 2009 - Man do I like this wine. In searching for a style to peg it, I have to place it between Oregon and Alsace squarely, with the floral mineral and lemon-cream aspect that make the best OR rieslings so appealing, and the oiliness and the petrol which signify Alsace. This one is more Oregon then Alsace IMO, but with such striking aspects of both one might think its a hybrid. Nope, its New Zealand, and if they found a way to combine two of my favorite rieslings, I'll be drinking a lot more of this. Will be curious to see if their pinot gris is even more of a hybrid of OR and Alsace given that varietal's dominance up there.
  
  Have to also give a thumbs up to this wine's ability to double duty as aperetif and food wine.

  October 18, 2009 - Gorgeous, relatively dry, and fabulously elegant. Orchard fruits and flowers with a touch of oil. I've always characterized this as an Alsatian style but tonight it shows in an increasingly unique manner. Home run, and a great wine to try for Riesling nerds or casual white wine lovers alike.
