March 1, 2009 - Not much showing on the nose, some light citrus and grass. Very sharp acid attacks the palate, with grapefruit, lemon,and crisp pear flavors. A bit tart and aggressive to my palate, but paired with a variety of spicy Mexican dishes it held up nicely. This isn't quite my speed of SB, I am into a little more subtlety such as you would find in white Bordeaux, but everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy it quite a lot. Not a bad QPR.

February 4, 2009 - Light bodied, and quite crisp, this is a very appealing effort that nicely balances its creamy texture with with supple acidity and flavors of grapefruit, lees and crushed flowers.
