November 1, 2017 - Monthly Tasting Group EEE #064: Southern Rhône (@ AR): Beautiful bouquet with complexity and depth. Some barnyard, minerals, leather, dark cherries, smoke and tobacco. On the palate juicy red berries and cherries, herbs, some licorice, good acidity and round tannin. The wine shows some maturity, but is still full of life. Drink until 2019?

January 24, 2016 - Attractive, in your face Syrah aromas with black olives, forest floor etc. Lovely easygoing Hermitage with fine tannins. A bit short.

VISUEL carmin avec quelques reflets orangés
OLFACTIF nez très expressif. Racé avec une perception d'évolution
GUSTATIF texture super agréable. Notes d'olives noires. Puissant et très bon. On a ici affaire à une production de qualité.
ENSEMBLE voilà la 5ème bouteille que je déguste de ce millésime et je dois dire qu'elles ont toutes été hors de l'ordinaire. Yann Chave nous offre un Crozes-Hermitage irréprochable. Et le 2007 à bien encore quelques années devant lui..... -

Superbe équilibre général.
Nez généreux bien que un peu simple.
Superbe équilibre en bouche, mais de persistance discutable...
On y revient sans se faire prier par ailleurs.
