August 23, 2012 - Still drinking really well. Vibrant, medium red rose color. Nose of red berries and cream. Smooth, medium weight palate. Lovely berry and watermelon notes. Lingering finish.
If you make a rose from a grape with strong character, you get a rose with strong character. This was not muted at all. Very pleasant. -

May 9, 2011 - A very nice bottle to pop when the thermometer gets up to 90F (32.2C). The malbec makes a rosé that's a bit fuller. Strawberry, red cherry & perhaps a little cranberry in there. Refreshing. Drink now.

December 10, 2010 - pulled this bottle at the last minute to pair with fish. gave a rapid chill. shared with ellen and pat at selkirk manor. this bottle was purchased outside of retail channels and may have received some rough handling. was this bottle oxidized or just a very intense expression of tart strawberry, cranberry and cherry? it was a bit unpleasant on its own but served as a good backdrop to the food. overall, i have to agree with other tasters that this wine would probably be better to have been consumed one year ago.

August 19, 2010 - Found in the closet. Should have opened this a year ago, when it had a bit more fruit and acidity. Still, I like the style - a bit more body than a lot of roses, but not too heavy. Strawberry and cherry on the nose. Light cherry, strawberry, and some alcohol on the palate. Acidity and minerality there but seems a bit subdued from the last bottle. Overall, this is still very nice, in a style that's more apertif than dinner companion (though it went well with tacos). Drink it soon. 88-89
