  March 1, 2019 - Lovely Cab with plenty going on. Blackberries, some black cherry, sweet Oak, underbrush.

  June 28, 2014 - A full bodied Cab with searing tannins that take several hours of decanting to mellow. Blackberries, dry underbrush, modest Oak and some minerals. A long finish.

  July 28, 2013 - Smoothing out. Deep and dark purple color. Even after 6 hours of decanting the wine still seems asleep with overripe but not jammy dark fruits, modest Oak, hints of soft leather and spice. Still trying to figure this wine out as to whether it will improve or not, but it is certainly not showing any signs of age.

I got a strange note of honeydew on the nose, which I've never encountered on a red wine before. This wasn't great. I might try this again in a few years, but I don't hold out much hope for it.
