June 19, 2022 - This bottle was a gift, given years ago, so I have no prior tastings of my own to go by. I let it breath an hour. It seems to be a bit past it’s prime. Nonetheless, it was very pleasant, with a bit of fruit left. It went well with smoked pork belly.

July 26, 2019 - Still quite enjoyable. Fruit nicely balanced. Big nose, moderately long finish.

September 9, 2013 - Still holding its own with nice acidity lots of sweet fruit on the nose and fine tannin. A little shorter on the finish than I remember but wow, this is drinking great. licorice, wood smoke, sour cherry, mint leaves and earthy tar. Complex and elegant, not heavy and dense. Drink now-2015.

February 1, 2013 - Decanted a half hour, wonderful nose with ash, mushroom, sage, rosemerry, dark prune fruit and earth notes. Well integrated smooth with a long finish. Great acidity and youthful still. Tar, ash, tree root and liqorice on the finish that lasts. Great stuff at peak now. Drink to 2016.

October 15, 2011 - Alive and kicking! Nicely balanced, soft tannins yet still ging backbone to the wine. Acidity perfectly judged too. Did not get any cigarbox which I expected from Cabernet. Years left I would say. Cannot say if will improve. 9.6 euros / 4cl at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
