February 16, 2020 - Time to finish up. Showing some oxidation but still lovely.

April 6, 2013 - This bottle is good, still fresh but showing some development.

August 21, 2009 - 07 Sancerre "Monts Damnes", 07 Peay Estate Pinot, 83 Ridge Jimsomare Cabernet (Rockridge, CA (Oakland)): Second bottle I have had and I can't believe there are no CT notes. Well okay, we opened a bottle with Stuart Yaniger the week before and that bottle was a little better. My note on that first bottle "Thinking back on this, this wine rocked and everyone who likes Sancerre and crisp, lemony, minerally whites should buy this. Around $25 per bottle. As stated it is laser sharp with crushed rock minerality, lemons. The focus and crispness on this wine cries out for food but there is a little richness to it as well. 93/100"

Well, this one underperformed. The acid was almost overwhelming everything. A quick taste on day 3 and it had fleshed out better, showing more complexity but still very citrus dominated, minerals, honeysuckle and lime skin. Tasty but oooh that first bottle.
