January 14, 2012 - Not a big fan of nebbiolo, but this was good. nose was amazing with lots of chocolate, fruit, pencil lead. taste is good at first, but there is an unpleasant finish, very dry, acidic and tart. did not like that, so GOOD nose, ok body. tart finish.

June 1, 2011 - Great nose with violets, star aniseed, spices, some smoke and blue berries. Some oak displaying with coconut and fudge notes. Taste a bit disappointing with less of everything. Very dry, very potent tannins. Hgh in acidity. We like this much more with food than on its own.
