March 10, 2023 - Gorgeous aromatics, flowers, tea leaves. Still quite fresh, yet mature. I can see the Chambolle (peacock's tail). Lithe and graceful, but finishes with some weight. In fact, my only complaint is that the weighty finish is out of balance with the rest of the wine. All in all, a lovely wine. Drinking well, and nowhere near the downslope.

August 12, 2015 - just wonderful. masculine, savory, with the ruby-est of ruby grapefruit on the nose.

open and expressive within 15 minutes, then evolved wonderfully from day 1 to day 2 (via refrigerator).

February 11, 2015 - Closed up front, surprisingly light in body and intensity. Very Chambolle, which is a good thing. Definitely for food, very pleasant, but not what I expected.

November 27, 2014 - Bright and light - very Chambolle. Strawberry and raspberry, ready to go.

December 6, 2013 - Popped and poured. Medium red. Initially a bit reticent on the nose with some red fruits and a floral quality. On the palate this strikes a lovely balance between the fruit and spice with a distinct mineral/acid streak in the finish. This still is quite structured and should soften and develop more complexity with a few more years of age. Very interesting wine.
