February 3, 2011 - Deep garnet red. Beautiful nose of fresh coffee, lavendar, cherries and earth. Great attack on the palate with good mid palate depth. Cherry, coffee, pepper, medium plus finish, soft tannins, nice balance. Really a delightful wine. Bottle age has served this nicely. Now I wish I had a few more stashed away.

February 18, 2009 - Purchased a bottle at Legal Sea Foods for $9.99 after liking it as part of a tasting flight. Very fruit forward on the nose, especially compared to other CdR I've had that are more reserved. Highly drinkable, but perhaps simple overall. A very good value.
