March 2, 2020 - At 14 years of age this humble Langhe Nebbiolo is showing exceptionally well. A tad of earth, rose hips on the nose, juicy red fruit mingles with fine tannins. Long, aromatic finish. Wish I had more...

April 12, 2015 - Amazingly drinkable and delicious for a varietal that stakes its reputation on being bracingly tannic. acidic, and austere, here transformed by 9 years of bottle age into a wine that remains firm and drying while being overlaid by a juicy and tasty sheen that also features texture and fruit. The aftertaste hangs in the mouth minutes after swallowing. Drinking this with 7 other wines at a long lunch, the two of us kept coming back to this and managed to swig down almost a half bottle.

January 14, 2012 - Ruby red. Strawberries, fennel, fine tobacco, some coffee from barrels but well integrated. Minerals, volatile notes, balanced but good acididity and tannins. This is almost as good as Barbaresco Nubiola. Good value for money (15€)

March 22, 2010 - Pure shiny fruit, violet overtones, great freshness, light body and tannins. A pleasure to drink and a screaming bargain at $15.
